On a bus, when you see a thief is trying to steal money from a lady, what will you do? Why?

Firstly, I can drop a hint that I have seen him doing something that is nothing to do with him. If he hide his face from me and go on with it, I should try to give him an inkling that I will take some action against what he want to try. If all these don't get the desired result, I should remind the passengers on the board that they must take care of the things taken with them. I think, we shouldn't shout at the him "stop thief", because he will do somethim harm to you just as a dog will leap over a wall in desperation.
