In this picture, an old couple is sitting at the table waiting for their children and grand-childrento come to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Day with them. However, after hours' waiting, none of themcome but to give their greetings from the telephone. The old couple looks sad though there is a grandmeal in front of them.
This picture shows the loneliness of the old. Nowadays, as the pace oflife increase rapidly, theyoung people spend less and less time with their parents. Some of them even don't visit their parentsat some important festivals, such as the Mid-Autumn Day and the Spnng Festival. In my opinion, theyoung should spend some time to visit their parents no matter how busy they are. As for the old, whatthey need most is the love from their children and it is the duty of the young to take care of theirparents and make them feel happy.
