公共场所禁菸 Should Smoking In Public Places Be Banned?
We can see such signs as “No Smoking” in some public places, which is a kind of measure taken to ban *** oking in public places. However, concerning about this measures, different people hold divergent opinions. The *** okers protest against that it is a kind of action to deprive of their free right, while the non- *** okers are in favor of banning *** oking in public places.
在一些公共场所我们可以看到像“禁止吸菸”这一类的标志，这都是在公共场所禁菸的方法。然而，对于这种措施，不同的人有不同的想法。吸菸者认为这是剥夺他们自由权的行为，而不吸菸的人则是支援在公共场所禁止吸菸。
In my opinion, I am inclined to support the latter one— *** oking should be banned in public places. There are reasons aounting for my point. For one thing, people will be harmed by the second-hand *** oking if someone *** okes in public places, especially the infants and children. For another, banning *** oking in public places is also beneficial to the *** okers. If they are banned to *** oke in public places, they will restrain themselves from *** oking and *** oke less. In the meantime, it is a contribution to reduce the air pollution.
在我看来，我更倾向于支援后者——在公共场所应该禁止吸菸。我有我的原因。一方面，如果有人在公共场所吸菸的话，人们就会受到二手菸的伤害，特别是婴儿和儿童。另一方面，在公共场所禁止吸菸对于吸菸者也是有好处的。如果在公共场所禁止吸菸，他们就会被限制吸菸，少抽菸。同时，对于减少空气污染也是有贡献的。
Therefore, I advocate that *** oking in public places should be banned so that we can breathe the fresh air and suffer less from the second-hand *** oking. Let’s work together to create and sustain out green and fresh environment.
因此，我主张在公共场所禁止吸菸，这样我们才可以呼吸到新鲜的空气，少吸二手菸。让我们一起共创造、维持绿色清新的环境。

school students.
Nowadays more and more people have realized
*** oking can do harm to people'shealth. However, some people still enjoy
*** oking. Why? Because some of them think it is a kind of fashion, some think it
is of great fun and others think that *** oking can refresh themselves.
In fact, *** oking is a bad habit. It can cause a
lot of diseases. Meanwhile *** oking is a waste of money. Besides, careless
*** okers may cause dangerous fires.
Smoking is harmful and it is not only bad for *** okers
themselves, but also bad for non- *** okers.
Therefore, I hope all the *** okers can give up
*** oking for themselves and also for the people around them.
不符合我国科学发展观的“以人为本”原则。
1、以吸菸者为本，就说侵犯了吸菸者的自主选择权。
2、以非吸菸者为本，就说吸菸的人是肯定要吸得，如果在公共场所禁菸的话，必然导致他们在一些非公共的场所吸菸，容易引发火灾等安全隐患。与二手菸相比，我更怕火灾。（有点牵强啊）
有禁菸标识的地方就是禁菸区反正会影响别人的地方，都是该禁菸的地方

As far as I’m concerned, *** oking should be banned in all the public places such as restaurants, theaters and public squares.On the one hand, *** oking is harmful both for *** okers themselves and others. It is reported that every year *** oking causes millions of death around the world. On the other hand, *** oking pollutes the air.

opened my eyes in the morning and looked at the clock.
"Oh, dear! It's half past seven already. I'll be late again," I thought. Without breakfast, I hurried to school. But it began to rain hard.
When I got to the classroom, the maths teacher had already begun his lesson. It was Mr wang. All of us were afraid of him. I didn't like him, or his lessons. I opened the door. " I'm late again, Mr Wang." "I've told you not to be late, but you ..." he said angrily. But suddenly he sped, and looked at my clothes. He quickly took off his own jacket and handed it to me. "Now take off your wet coat and put shis one on." he said kindly.
It was a bit large for me, but I felt warm in it.
