I am bursting with impatience to recommend a wonderful book to all of you, 1587, a Year of No Significance, which will not only broaden your knowledge but also be beneficial to your life.
The book tells a story of historical events in recording six historical figures’ lives, in which the social structure and political tension of Ming dynasty are reflected. It offers an inspiring and enlightening perspective on what our ancestors experienced and how we take this as a lesson to solve social problems. What’s more, this book, originally written in English, was translated into Chinese by the author himself. Therefore, the two versions could provide a high-quality reference for our study of English.
