I have only seen Joan twice before she passed away, when I first came to a small village in New England. She seemed very easygoing, but not that outstanding. Therefore I was very surprised when I saw this many people attending her funeral at the church. I couldn't help thinking maybe I underestimated her accomplishment, and walked up to a person standing at the gate of the church and asked, "How come there are so many people attending Joan's funeral? Who on earch was she?"
