look for、search、find out的区别，每个附有两个例句。

look for 寻找 (注重寻找的动作)

1、I'm looking for my notebook.
我在找我的笔记本。
2、She might be looking for a good kindergarden for her son.
她一定在给她儿子找个好的幼儿园。

search 搜寻 (有时可以和look for互换)

1、He is always searching his glasses.
他老是在到处找他的眼镜。
2、He searched everywhere but didn't find anything.
他搜了所有的地方可什么也没找着。

find out 发现、找到 （注重发现这一动作的结果）

1、We found out that Tom is John's brother.
我们发现Tom 是John的兄弟。
2、Scientists found out that the earth was round.
科学家们发现地球是圆的。

look for“寻找”，强度“找”的这个动作，后面直接跟名词
search更侧重“搜寻、搜索”的意思，范围较广，一般可用search for sth.或in the search of sth.
find out有“找出”的意思，更经常表示“发现、调查...”，后面也是直接跟名词或find sth. out（当sth.不是人称代词的时候）。
