有关government 的用法 很简单的!

Question

我有几个问题关於government 的用法
(1) government 是单数还是众数，即是用is 还是 are 在后面??

(2) government 永远需要跟著 the ??

(3) government 有代名词?? 如果前一句写了government ，后面有什麼词语
可以代替呢? 例如 it / they ?? 因为我不想句句都出现government 。

作为政府时，是可数名词
[G] 指后接单、复数动词均可的名词，如集合名词。
例 ：The Government {has} already made it clear.
The Government {are} facing three crises.
注：集合名词单数形后接动词，美式英语多用单数，英式英语则单、复数皆可。

也就是说，it/they 都可以的

通常有the是因为通常说到政府都是说道某个特定的政府

1.政府,内阁[C][G]
The Government is discussing the proposal.
政府在讨论这一提议。
The French government had formed an alliance with Russia.
法国政府已与俄国结盟。
2.政体;体制;政治[U]
We ask for a return to democratic government.
我们要求恢复民主政体。
3.政治学[U]
He is a student of government.
他研究政治学。
4.治理;管理;支配[U]

2，特指某个政府要加the，一般情况下我们都是特指，所以是需要加the的
