My future

As the song goes “ My future isn’t a dream .” I love the song which brings me confidence when singing it every time . I believe that all our dreams can come true if we have courage to pursue them .When I was young my father always asked me what I would be in the future . Sometimes I found it very hard to give a certain reply . “ I want to be a doctor .” “ I want to be a teacher .” and “ I ’d like to be a scientist !” Many of these answers are perhaps very childish and ridiculous . But I never think they are far away .

How time flies! Who is able to give a definition to his future ? I know clearly that those high buildings are based on solid foundation . As a student , I should have a reasonable aim , and study hard . My goal is to enter the best university for further study after middle school . I know it’s hard work , and I ’ll come across many difficulties and frustrations . But no matter what they are , I’ll keep working on it and never give up . My teacher says there ’s only one kind of people that are truly successful : those who are brave enough to put up with hardships . Even if I won’t achieve the goal , I have no regrets for what I have done , for I have struggled for my life .

What did I do on Saturday？ Well, I went to the supermarket on Saturday morning. After I came back, I cooked some food for my family. We had a big dinner. It was very delicious.In the afternoon, I went to my grandmother’s home and helped her with some cleaning. She’s quite old now, you know. After that, we had a talk for a long time. That night, my friend and I went to a movie. It was great.My mother said I was a good student.What a busy day!But l was happy .Because l could do everythings by myselves.

When I was two years old, I was very naughty. One day I went to a supermarket with my father. I was very happy and excited. I ran in the supermarket and asked many questions about things in the supermarket and my father answered them happily. Suddenly, I crashed into a desk in the supermarket. I was afraid and I cried sadly. My head was hurt and my father took me to the hospital. My parents were worried about me. The doctor said, “It doesn’t matter. He needs to take a rest for a few days and then he will be fine.” And I was fine soon just like the doctor said.

This year’’’’s summer vacation was most enjoyable. I spent fifteen days helping my grandparents doing farm work in the countryside， where I saw mountains and fields covered with green plants. Sometimes I went swimming in the river to the west of the village， the water in which was quite clear.

I kept a diary every day. Besides doing farm work， I help the children in the neighborhood with their lessons. All of them showed much interest in English. They could read and write well， but they could hardly understand simple English. So every day in the morning I spent about two hours helping them improve their listening and spoken English.
