feature是及物动词，接名词或代词作宾语。作“占重要位置”解时，feature常用作不及物动词，其后接介词in表示“在…中担任主角，占重要地位或起重要作用”。
英语单词feature有两层含义：
1、做名词时，它的意思是特色，特征，特点；面容的一部分也可以指面孔的某个部分，如眼，鼻，眉；特写，专题节目。复数：features。
2、做动词时，它的意思是以…为特色，由…主演，以…为主要组成，起重要作用，占重要地位。第三人称单数：features；现在分词：featuring；过去式：featured；过去分词：featured。
