跟深简捷10键速拨键IP网络电话机使用WEB页面进行配置SIP账户不同， Cisco 7960 ip电话上设置sip网络电话账户需要通过tftp服务器来下发配置文件，这个配置文件（SIPDefault.cnf）会覆盖话机闪存上的配置信息。
