用英语描述方位

我们口语考试，看图说话。
例如，一张地图（蛮抽象的），有个人在路口，他要去一个目的地，这个目的地在什么什么地方..然后描述他应该怎么走才能到达目的地..
我想请教一下，英语中描述方位的短语有哪些？
什么向前走啊..向左走、向左转..向右走、向右转...
还有什么..医院在影院的后面阿..什么在什么的旁边阿....
就这一类的..初中..

（2）西方：West

（3）北方：North

方向的表示：

（1）in the+方位名词：表示在范围之内

（2）on the+方位名词：表示两地接壤

（3）to the+方位名词：表示在范围之外 （如美国与中国）
