1、《九色鹿》动画是根据敦煌壁画《鹿王本生》故事改编的。1980年夏天，冯健男和九色鹿团队花了两个月时间由上海出发，沿着丝绸之路从东到西到了敦煌。对着丰富绚丽的壁画，团队人员临摹了五大本速写。
