A teacher is that you enjoy sharing knowledge with other living, breathing human beings whom you show respect to.
Though there has to be an adult authority figure in the room in order to guide students into making wise choices, the main objective of the teacher isn't to boss children, but to teach them in a way that is interesting and engaging.
That's the reason most teachers teach! They want to impart knowledge to students that, even though they often do not realize it at the time, they might need later on in life.
