We see no need for the universities to make English a mandatory lesson and here are our arguments:

In my opinion there is no need for our school to serve English course as a compulsory course and the following are my reasons.
First international-oriented talents are in need in China but it doesn't mean that everyone should be it,which is impossible.The time when these talents is in great demand is the time when these talents will be well paid and thus more people will pursue learning this subject initiatively.
Second ,we do need to learn from other countries but it is not that it is everyone's responsibility to have a good master of this language as a tool.We can also learn from them without it .Someome are willing to learn this language due to the large number of Chinese and we can depend on them to translate someting and it is agree with policy of the community-based division of labor .What is more,the talent market prices can also adjust the number of foreign talent.
