英语歌词比较隐讳,日语歌词则明白的显示了这首歌是唱出真治的心境,不愿再与人接触,不再喜欢任何人,不再伤害任何人,希望回归于无……因此第三次冲击发生了.所有的心之壁溃决,不必再提防任何人不会再伤害到任何人,不再有生老病死,也没有时间空间了……
最早这是巴赫根据一位德国诗人的诗歌而作的一首"康塔塔"
(cantatas,类似于宗教性质的大合唱)原名是:Komm, suesser Tod, komm, sel'ge Ruh! 德文意为:来吧，甜美的死，来吧，幸福的安宁!(作品编号BWV478)庵野秀明重新填词并翻译成英文后,鹭巢诗郎将其改为了一首流行音乐,而鹭巢诗郎就是平井坚《流星雨》的制作人,在日本是个很牛的音乐制作,也曾经为高达编过曲,许冠杰的《茫茫前路》就是翻唱他的作品.
