allow什么时候搭配to do 什么时候搭配doing
在被动语态中如何使用

allow
（1）to do表示peimit (sb/sth) to do sth“允许，许可，准许做某事”
（2）doing表示let （sth）be done or happen “容许某事物发生”（一般是行为本身作主语，更多被动的成份）

表面上看起来区别不是很大，但是细细体会你会发现：
（1）to do是某人做某事情前先征求同意和准许
（2）而allow doing使用的句中通常是带有否定语气的，表示某事是不容许发生的，没有请求准许的这个过程，是对既定行为（已发生的行为，或者说某一种常见的行为法师）的判定。

again, 不敢说国内的英文教材怎么写的，但在英语国家里没有allow doing这个用法。只会用allow to do.
比如：Mother never allows my little brother to stay out late. 妈妈从来不准我小弟在外面玩得太晚。
