 司华伯曾经告诉过我,他的微笑,有一百万元的价值。他所暗示的,或许就是这个真理。司华伯有他今日的成就,那是该归功于他的人格,他的魅力,和他那种特殊的能力。而在他的人格中,最可爱的因素,就是他令人倾心的微笑。

  有一次,我花了一个下午的时间,去拜访雪弗立,说实在的,我很失望。他沉默寡言,跟我想象中完全不一样……直到他绽开一缕微笑的?那间,整个气氛才完全变换过来,顿时开朗了起来。如果不是他那一缕微笑,恐怕雪弗立依旧在巴黎做他的木匠,继续他父兄的行业。

  一个人的行动,比他所说的话,更有具体的表现,而人们脸上的微笑,就有这样的表示:‘我喜欢你,你使我快乐,我非常高兴见到你!

一般的:If you want to leave a deep impression,you must follow the steps below:First of all,you should kee yourself clean and tidy.You should give the other people a fresh impression with clean face,white teeth and neat hands as well.Second,you should wear very clean clothes.Although the clothes is not fashionable,it should be clean and tidy.Third,you should be good at talking with lot of knowledge and humor.That is very important if you want to leave the other people a deep impression.And last,you should be helpful,generous ,friendly and polite.The last one ,perhaps,is your attitude towards the other people and to the world as well.I think,if you are very optimistic and self-confident in your life,you will certainly welcome by the people around you.

A firm and confident hand shake is fundamental to making a good impression,and appear confident when introducing yourself.Try something like,‘Hi my name is Nicole Underwood,it’s a pleasure to meet you’.Using someone’s name three times in the first five minutes of meeting them will help you remember their name.Try,‘Nice to meet you John,so what line of work are you in?’ To get a conversation flowing,ask open-ended questions and listen.If you are actively listening to the information you are receiving,it makes it a lot easier to have a natural follow on discussion.Networking protocol is about having good manners.So,don’t aggressively sell yourself or your business when you first meet someone.Swapping business cards,ideas,information and having something interesting to say (from your research and preparation) will all make sure you are remembered.

One of the most important aspects is making a lasting impression.Following up your contacts can involve sending a card,email,information,or a phone call.My advice – make some key notes after the event to ensure you remember any finer points about your conversation.
