这道题目我很困惑为什么仅仅只能选D呢？我觉得好像选A也可以。

这道题目可以说是我本学期以来最为纠结的一种题目了，我觉得这可以是一句定语从句，我一开始选了B，后来想想spent后面有个6 years，觉得spent是个及物动词，及物动词后直接加宾语，又觉得是个宾语从句，但是同学说是地点状语从句，老师说如果是定语从句的话要in which，我不知道为什么还要加个in ,spent不是及物动词吗？还有最好跟一下两题结合起来回答下我的问题。
This is the factory which l visited last week .
This is the factory where l work now .

1. both是两者都，全部肯定。too...to..结构是有否定的意思。
全肯+否定 = 部分否定而非全否。eg. I cann't find my book anywhere.(不是everywhere)
either ... or....两者中任何一个。

2. 这确实是定语从句 where = in which.
你下面的例句里面就是，This is the factory where (in which) i work now.
而这个This is the factory. + I visited the factory last week. visit是及物动词，不用再用介词。
上面的原题，I still remember my middle school. + I spent 6 years studying in the school.
定语从句的关系副词就是相当于介词+ which
