I did a research on what do High School students like to read,the choices we have is:stories(fictions or non-fictions),news&events,science,and in a learning methods.The result I got are stories got 51%,learning methods got 13%,science got 10%,and news&events got 13%.It shows that most of the students likes to read in stories and not in science.
