一、时间的提问

时间的提问有两种方式：What is the time？或What time is it？

也可以这样表达：Could you tell me the time？

二、 时间的表达

1、“整点”的表达

如：4:00为four o'clock，即……＋o'clock。

2.“半点”的表达

公式：half past＋几点钟；如：6:30为half past six。

3、“15分钟”的表达

公式：a quarter past＋几点钟；如：11:15为a quarter past eleven。

4、差几分到几点

公式：A to B（其中A表示分钟，B表示点钟）；如：two to two就是差2分钟到2点钟。

5、其他分钟的表达

方法：直接从前往后念，先念“点”，再念“分钟”。

8:20可以表达为eight twenty；当然也可以这样表示：forty to nine就是差40分钟到9点钟；还可以这样表示：forty－seven to ten就是差47分钟到10点钟。
