英语语法问题 所有格？

这里是指两人各自有一间房间对吗？还是说两人各自有一间房间的一部分？

相信这个短语里有笔误。
要么将room改成复数rooms. Jim's and Jack's rooms表示吉姆和杰克各自的房间（两间房）；
要么将Jim's从所有格改成名词Jim. Jim and Jack's room表示吉姆与杰克共有的房间（一间房）。
两个都是所有格而用单数名词room按英语习惯是无论如何说不过去的。本回答被提问者采纳
