What’s more, the western views have been spread widely, naturally, and culturally. Moreover, nowadays people have their rights to have a taste of various cultures. 　　Obviously, this does some effects in our life. For example, it will arouse anxiety among so-called protectors of tradition. They unnecessarily worries that the western days are to replace the Chinese convention. Personally speaking, the policy of “let it be” will do more good that harm in this field. 近十年来，每逢年底，在中国的大中城市，一股热浪便扑面而来。圣诞，这个中国人曾经陌生的只在电影中看到的节日，成了中国人重视程度很高的一个。某种程度来说，随着生活水平的提高，加上对鞭炮的限制，以及休假旅游的增多，圣诞几乎跟中国最传统的节日——春节——平起平坐了。

说起圣诞，眼下二十来岁的年轻人都能如数家珍的说出平安夜、圣诞夜、狂欢夜，知道圣诞纪念的是耶稣的诞辰，知道有圣诞老人，知道应该弄棵树，挂上漂亮的彩灯、礼品包，知道那只袜子。在每年的最后一个星期，许多的年轻人三五成群结伴到酒店、酒吧甚至教堂参加圣诞庆祝活动，甚至不少年轻的父母带着年幼的孩子也参与其间，体验异域文化带来的不同概念的享乐。

最早在中国有圣诞这个概念，缘于十九世纪，传教士把基督教引入中国。而在此后的百余年，由于基督教在中国的传播并不广泛，使得圣诞的庆祝也没有在中国形成气候。近十几年来，先是在中国工作的外国基督教徒增多，为了让他们有机会的场地度过这个节日，才促使圣诞节活动逐渐增多，随后，更多的中国基督教徒和非基督教徒也加入进来。
