怎么用for和of,很多句子都用到这两个词,但不明白为什么要用.

It is +adj+for sb to do sth(这时形容词是表示事物特征的,这样的形容词有necessary,important,等)
eg:It is important for us to learn English well.
It is +adj +of sb to do sth (这时形容词是表示人的品质的,这样的形容词有right ,wrong,stupid,wise ,polite,rude,等)
It is foolish of you to do that.=You are foolish to do that.

of做介词，意为“....的”，后跟名词，表示的是无生命的事物的所有格
for:
What will you do for the summer holiday?
for在本句中表示“为了（某一目的）”
for的其他用法：
1、可以表示“对于”例如。
It is very important for him to study Engish well .
对于他来说，学好英语很重要。
2、可以表示“供..用的”例如。
Three rooms for five people!
三间房供五个人住！
3、可以表示“由于，因为”例如。
