1、词性不同
Deliver 是及物动词，vt，意为交付； 发表； 传递递送； 使分娩等。
而delivery是deliver的名词形式，意思是分娩；传送，投递； 或者法律上的交付；演讲等意思。
因此正确的表达为We can’t deliver before the 6th Feb.其中deliver做动词使用，意思是我们可以在2月6日前交付。 We can’t delivery before Feb 6th.这个是错误的说法，因为delivery是名词形式，不可以直接跟在can't后面。
2、用法不同：
（1）deliver 后面还需要加上名词或代词或者不定式作宾语，为动词的用法。
例句1：She is due to deliver a lecture on genetic engineering.她将要主持一个关于基因工程的讲座。
例句2：We can deliver supplies and work to break the back of the famine. 我们可以运送物资，努力解决饥荒中最关键的问题。

（2）delivery则可以用作名词短语，宾语，定语，状语等，为名词的用法。

3、在变形词上不同
Deliver还可以做形容词，或转化成含本义的形容词，名词，过去式，过去分词，第三人称单数等形式。delivery只有复数形式deliveries。
形容词: deliverable 名词: deliverability 过去式: delivered 过去分词: delivered
现在分词: delivering 第三人称单数: delivers
